Our mission is to inspire you to eat true and amazing chocolate!

Craft chocolate is our passion, and we would like you to join us in this journey. We want to show you that chocolate is more than just a sweet, but actually it can be good for you, being ethically sourced it supports the farmers and their regions, and of course it tastes delicious. We promise a chocolate tasting journey, where you will find amazing tasteful chocolate, their stories and the passion of their makers. A True Chocolate Experience!

About craft chocolate

It’s an exciting time for the chocolate world. As part of the bean-to-bar movement, every day new passionate chocolate makers are creating new delicious chocolate bars. There hasn’t been a better time to enjoy craft and single origin chocolate.

Carefully selected beans, small batch productions and high-quality standards are just a few characteristics of this chocolate movement.

Each chocolate is different in flavor, in texture, and although production methods can vary significantly, they all have one thing in common: great skills and attention to details are a must to create a good quality product.

All our chocolate partners respectfully transform the cacao bean to final chocolate bars, with complete transparency in the process. The Chocolate makers in our library take pride in owning the complete production process and supporting the farmers and their regions, through fair and direct trade. While of course crafting an amazing product.

How did we become True Chox?

We are Pablo and Vanessa. We are from Venezuela, but live in Germany since 2007. We have always loved chocolate (who doesn’t?!?!), but it wasn’t until 2015, in a chocolate festival, that we remembered what real chocolate is all about. That year, Chocolate tasting became our hobby. Every week, a new bar and a new chocolate maker.

We struggled finding craft chocolate in normal stores. So, in 2018 we decided to take the jump and created our own chocolate shop!

Of course this gave us a lot of chocolate…

But the best thing was… we got to share and teach about true chocolate .

This is why in 2020, we changed our name to True Chox, because we are looking to share with you a true chocolate experience.
