Akesson’s was founded by Bertil Akesson. Located in England, they are definitely one of the Craft and Bean-to-Bar chocolate movement founders. Akessons’s has several plantations in Madagascar, in Brazil and Indonesia and supply world famous chocolatiers and chefs. They have won many international chocolate awards and have enabled many other chocolate makers to win as well for their bars made with Akesson’s cacao.
