The Auro Tupi Dark chocolate is a richly fruity-flavored bar, made from trinitario cocoa. These cocoa beans are grown in Tupi, at the foot of Mount Matutum one of the most fertile areas of the Philippines. This delicious bar is pleasantly spicy, with slightly pungent tones raisins, red wine, and tropical fruits.
Auro was founded by Kelly Go and Mark Ocampo in May 2015 after training as a chocolatier at ZDS in Solingen (Germany). Above all, being Bean to Bar, their company is involved in every step of the process: from cultivation, harvesting to the production of chocolate. Auro works only with Filipino cacao, working directly with the farmers, and as a result supporting fair and sustainable conditions.
