Vegan choco spread

Who doesn’t enjoy a nice and chocolatey spread on a bread or pancake? I mean, it’s just yummy to take a break from the routine to enjoy something delicious for a few minutes.

The problem with the commercial spreads is that most of them are full of sugar and palm oil, which we all know are not good for our health.

So, if it’s not good what we find on the market, then let´s do our own version! I´m a fan of doing my own creations because I know what I’m eating. I get to use quality ingredients and proper measures. And the best part is that it’s super easy, not expensive, and it won’t take long.

Here’s our vegan choco spread recipe 😊

What do you need?

  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate pieces
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or honey/coconut sugar/Stevia)
  • 1 cup hazelnut/cashew/walnut mousse (unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 minutes of your time

And this is how it’s done

  • Beat mousse, sugar and vanilla extract
  • Melt and add chocolate pieces, and beat all together until you get a soft and uniform mixture

Voilà, that’s it!

Now it’s time to choose how you are going to eat it. Is it going to be with bread, pancakes, waffles, crackers or fruits? Or maybe all of them? 😊
