First of all, it’s a chocolate banana bread!!!! This already makes it unique, and of course delicious.

Easy, fast and healthy chocolate banana bread

You just need 6 ingredients and 5 min preparation to make this healthy banana bread. Naturally sweetened with maple syrup and with oaty and chocolate flavors. You can never go wrong.

Ideal for breakfast or for a healthy snack!

Preparation: 5 min / Cooking: 35 min

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup (or honey, brown sugar or any other sweetener as alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup dark chocolate pieces (and a little more as decoration). Use craft chocolate for extra flavors.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease your baking pan with coconut oil, non-stick cooking spray or any other oil. Set aside.
  • Smash the ripe bananas and add to a bowl. Add the eggs and the maple syrup and whisk al together.
  • Add the remaining ingredients: the oats baking soda and chocolate and mix together.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and decorate with chocolate pieces on top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool completely in the baking pan.
  • Store it in an airtight container for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
