So, here’s our dreamy chocolate Panna Cotta recipe 😊

chocolate panna cotta

Panna Cotta is an Italian dessert that literally means “cooked cream”. As we enter spring, a chocolate panna cotta is the creamy and smooth dessert that we are all looking for. Perfect for the new weather and mood change.

We recommend using dark chocolate (at least 70% chocolate!) so that the sweetness is not overwhelming, but still creamy and fluffy enough that it has a mousse like texture. You can also go more intense dark chocolate, but you might want to add a little extra sugar to keep in sweet.

To give it an extra spring touch, decorate with season fruit like strawberries. Mmmm delicious!

Chcolate Panna Cotta Ingredients

(4 portions)

  • 500 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 leaves gelatin
  • Dark or white chocolate

This is how it’s done:

  • Cut or break the chocolate in pieces
  • Heat cream, sugar, vanilla extract and chocolate
  • Add gelatin and stir until completely dissolved
  • Pour the mixture into glasses
  • Refrigerate for about 4 hours

For an extra touch, garnish with pieces of chocolate or nuts and voilà!

Now it’s the time to enjoy your dreamy, chocolaty creation 😊. Enjoy your home made chocolate panna cotta!
